SEB Bank can already be reached anytime round-the-clock by phone for advice on daily banking services2012-02-27 SEB Bank is the first in Lithuania to start advising its private individual customers by phone on daily banking issues round-the-clock. Starting from today, 27 February, specialists of the bank can already be reached by SEB Bank’s general telephone line 1528 for direct advise on various issues related to the bank's offered services anytime round-the-clock. Until now, one could contact SEB Bank anytime 24 hours a day only for blocking a lost payment card. “Our customer surveys and cooperation with them shows that there is an increasing number of individuals using banking services by remote access, and many of them do this late in the day when back home from work or even during night hours, or when travelling, or during weekends. We have noticed that private individuals use our bank’s services via the Internet quite intensively as late as around 10 p.m., however, quite a large number of customers manage their financial matters even past midnight, and various questions arise to them,” said Virginijus Doveika, Vice President of SEB Bank and Director of Retail Banking Division. V. Doveika said that from now on private individuals who will need assistance or advice from the bank’s specialists will no longer have to wait until the morning – they will be able to contact the bank by phone immediately and quickly find a solution or get any required answer. From now on, specialists of SEB Bank will be available by the general telephone line at 1528 to provide information on various daily banking services (e-services, payment cards, digipass, etc.) or on the bank's offers; if needed, they will register a customer for a meeting with a client executive at a sub-branch of the bank. Having established a person’s identity, the bank's specialists can also remove blocking of access to the bank's Internet services website, accept an order to produce the bank's debit payment cards, accept requests to order or cancel a direct debit service, they provide information on loans and leasing.
