CV Market survey: SEB Bank – the most desirable employer in Lithuania

A survey carried out by staff recruitment network CV Market has shown that the most desirable employer among the Lithuanian population is SEB Bank. Swedbank ranks number two followed by Achema ranking the third.

During a survey carried out in January through March 2012, 4 320 respondents were asked what their choice of three companies they would prefer to be employed with is, and what the motivation of their choice is. When selecting the most desirable companies, people most often indicated salary, which is in line with qualifications, security, career possibilities and attitude towards the employees: they are considered a value and are cared for.

In the survey a total of 2 700 companies were mentioned. The survey took into account the reputation of companies. This was the reason why many of the trade networks were excluded from the rating – quite often they were characterised negatively.

As regards SEB, the respondents typically stressed the bank's excellent brand, adequate and competitive salaries as well as prestige to be employed there. This bank was described as the most desirable employer by respondents from various segments.
